Hands, Hearts, and Homes Outreach was chosen as the quarterly recipient of 100+ Women Who Care of Western Reserve and received a charitable contribution of $10,415 on September 8, 2015.
The 100+ Women Who Care of Western Reserve meet 4 times a year and select 3 charitable organizations from a random drawing whose representatives then each gives a 5-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of questions from the members. Joan Hageman, President of Hands, Hearts, and Homes Outreach (H3O), was one of those three selected and presented to this large group of women at a meeting on July 28, 2015. Her moving speech resulted in H30 being selected as the quarterly recipient.
Hands, Hearts and Homes Outreach is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by Advent Lutheran Church and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, both located in Solon. The organization’s mission is accomplished through a network of volunteers who provide food, clothing, furniture, household items, and personal care to those in need in northeast Ohio.
